FAQ

Questions clinics ask us.

Straight answers on pricing, vendors, plans and getting started.
How much does Dubbed cost?
Foundation is $249/mo and Growth is $599/mo — flat per practice, not per user, provider, or revenue. Full plans and fees on Pricing.
What's the difference between Foundation and Growth?
Both include the whole platform. Growth adds unlimited prescribers, multi-location tools, and marketing workflows. Compare plans on Pricing.
Can I add more locations?
Yes — Growth, at $249/mo per extra location. Details on Pricing.
Is there a setup fee?
No. Setup is free. See Pricing.
Do you charge per staff user?
Never — unlimited staff users on every plan. See Pricing.
Are there any other fees?
Yes — add-ons and exception fees are listed openly on Pricing. No surprise markup on product.
What does Order management cover?
$10 each time we place an order with a vendor — not per line item. Full fee list on Pricing.
What does "at exact cost" mean?
Product, prescription, lab, shipping and supply costs are passed through at the price we're charged, with no markup. We make our money on the flat platform fee, not on what you buy.
Do I still get a separate bill from every vendor?
No. One statement covers every vendor — nine debits become one, and each line traces back to an order.
How does shipping work?
Shipping is passed through at cost — you pay exactly what the vendor charges, with nothing added. Rates vary by vendor and shipping speed.
Can I cancel an order after it's submitted?
Orders go to the pharmacy in real time. If the pharmacy charges a cancellation fee, we pass it on at exactly what they charge. Once shipped, an order can no longer be cancelled and is not refundable.
Does Dubbed practice medicine?
No. Dubbed does not practice medicine. Clinical care and prescribing decisions are made solely by licensed practitioners.
We don't have a prescriber. Can patients still get good faith exams?
Yes — through Dubbed. Good faith exams and consults run through Dubbed to an independent, physician-owned professional corporation. Dubbed provides the technology; their clinicians own the care and prescribing. Dubbed does not practice medicine.
Is messaging HIPAA-compliant?
Yes. In-app messaging with patients is HIPAA-compliant.
Do you sign a Business Associate Agreement?
Yes. We sign a BAA with every clinic, because the platform stores patient records.
Can we send marketing texts to patients?
Yes, on Growth. Your practice must have each patient's consent before sending marketing texts or emails, and must honor opt-outs. Appointment, order and shipping messages are not marketing.
How do I sign up?
Pick a plan on the Pricing page and click 'Get started' — or book a demo and we'll walk you through it first.
